We also purchased the Shamus Award filly out of Bellahro, a mare whose Xtravagant filly we currently have at home and hold in very high regard. Having seen firsthand what the family can produce, and with the 2YO sister already showing us plenty, this made her one of the best value buys of the sale. She comes from the Ultra Thoroughbred draft and is a strong, correct filly with plenty of substance and the physicality to develop into a horse that can stretch out over ground. Shamus Award continues to sire tough, genuine racehorses with stamina and versatility, and this filly presents exactly that profile. With the confidence we have in the half‑sister already in our system, this purchase was a logical and exciting addition to the team.

Shamus Award x Bellahro '24 Filly

We secured a beautifully bred Dundeel filly out of Anointed, a mare by Invincible Spirit who herself is out of a dual European G1 Oaks winner. She is bred to be a genuine Classics or Guineas‑style filly with the pedigree to get over ground and the physical attributes to match. Coming off the elite Arrowfield Stud draft, she represents the type of quality and depth they are renowned for producing. She is a leggy, athletic filly with scope, balance, and a fluent action, and she profiles very much like a horse who will continue to improve as she matures. Dundeel continues to prove himself as a top‑class sire of staying and middle‑distance horses, including last year&rsquo;s SA Derby winner Feminile, another high‑quality filly by Dundeel. This filly fits that mould perfectly and looks every bit a progressive, late‑season 2YO and strong 3YO type.

We are thrilled to have secured a striking chestnut filly by exciting young Coolmore stallion St Mark's Basilica (FR), for $120,000 at Day 1 of the Inglis Premier Yearling Sale.
Offered by leading thoroughbred nursery&nbsp;Coolmore Stud, she is an early type with beautiful balance and strength, and now heads to Angaston to begin her career.
A sire that is making an impression early, with 2YO colt, Aristopolos, an unbeaten sensation, winning his first five starts.
&nbsp;The dam, Paper Plane, was herself a $340,000 yearling and brings strong residual value to the pedigree, being a full-sister to multiple stakes winner LUMOSTY.
A sire, that we wanted to secure more progeny from this sales season, with the 2YO&rsquo;s in the stable now showing very positive early signs.

<div dir="auto">The Inglis Classic sale in Sydney presented us the opportunity to bring home a powerful grandson of the late champion sire Snitzel.&nbsp; While there won&rsquo;t be any more Snitzel&rsquo;s, his Group 1 winning son, In The Congo, offers the opportunity to continue the legacy.&nbsp; He has stamped this colt with the classic features of the line, being compact, strong and built for speed and precocity. In The Congo is put simply, by a champion, out of a champion. Snitzel, an elite racehorse and champion sprinting sire of early 2-year-olds, out of Via Africa, the champion South African sprinter and three-time Group 1 winner.&nbsp; He is notably a 3/4 brother to the currently undefeated Autumn Glow, winner of over $6.8million in prize money and potentially the next superstar in Australian racing. In The Congo won the stallion making Golden Rose with blistering sustained speed, defeating other top line colts who would go onto stud such as Anamoe, Artorius and Captivant.&nbsp; His yearlings were highly sought after and supported in each of the early season sales and are presenting in the nation&rsquo;s best stables. This colt is the 2nd foal of the winning mare Stolen Glance.&nbsp; A winner herself at two, she is a half-sister to stakes performers Tempt Me Not and Castanya. Bolstering the broodmare line is the 3rd dam Tempest Morn, the multiple Group 1 winner of over $750,000 including wins in the Ansett Stakes and SAJC Australasian Oaks.&nbsp; Daughters of Tempest Morn have proven themselves as broodmares, producing the likes of Good Standing ($1.58 million prize money) and Smart Meteor ($488,000).&nbsp; A blue blood opportunity at an affordable buy-in. Aaron Bain Racing is delighted to secure&nbsp;Lot&nbsp;10&nbsp;at the&nbsp;Karaka 2026 Yearling Sales&nbsp;- a powerful colt by leading sire&nbsp;Super Seth, acquired at an exceptional price.
This colt, a grandson of super-sire&nbsp;Dundeel, boasts the legendary influence of&nbsp;Zabeel&nbsp;on both sides of the pedigree. Dundeel&rsquo;s sire statistics are nothing short of elite, having already produced eight Group 1 winners, placing him firmly alongside the greats such as&nbsp;Redoute&rsquo;s Choice&nbsp;and&nbsp;Danehill.
Super Seth, from Dundeel&rsquo;s first crop, brings together faultless conformation, acceleration, grit, and undeniable class. His barnstorming victory in the sire-making&nbsp;Caulfield Guineas, where he ran down Alligator Blood, showcased all the attributes required to succeed at stud. That promise has been emphatically delivered, with Super Seth crowned&nbsp;New Zealand Champion First Season Sire (2023/24)&nbsp;and&nbsp;Champion Second Season Sire (2024/25).
The damline is equally compelling, featuring an outstanding winners-to-runners ratio and a proven record of producing horses that are early and forward. Extensive analysis by our bloodstock team identified the&nbsp;Dundeel / Pins&nbsp;cross as a particularly high-percentage formula for producing fast, high-quality performers.
Further strength is found deep in the pedigree, with the third and fourth dams tracing to&nbsp;Sacred Falls, the multiple Group 1-winning mare who amassed more than&nbsp;$4.4 million&nbsp;in prize money.

An imposing filly with a real presence about her, purchased from the 2025 Gold Coast Magic Millions Yearling Sale.&nbsp; In addition to her physical type, her pedigree impressively shows that her her dam Forever Crazy has already produced a multiple black type winner in Flying Crazy.
Forever Crazy, a daughter of Encosta de Lago, was a six-time winner herself up to 1900m. Flying Crazy is the best of her progeny to race to date, the gelding saluting in the Listed Canberra Guineas and another two listed races at Eagle Farm. There is black type all through the 2nd&nbsp;and 3rd&nbsp;dam, this pedigree really jumps out.&nbsp; The grand-dam Fiammarosa produced a Group winner of over $1.2 million in Beauty Legacy. The 3rd&nbsp;dam Shindig was a spectacular producer having produced a perfect record of 7 out of 7 foals to race and win.&nbsp; Her progeny have also gone on to produce multiple black type winners including the likes of Money Matters and Arkansaw Kid.
Sired by the most credentialed Champion 2YO Golden Slipper-winning colt in over a decade in&nbsp;Farnan. By sire-of-sires Not A Single Doubt,&nbsp;Farnan&nbsp;is the epitome of a precocious speed sire.&nbsp; He was crowned champion 2 year old in Australia for 2019-2020 taking out the Wyong Magic Millions, Silver Slipper and Todman Stakes en-route to a dominant leading performance to take out the 2020 Golden Slipper.&nbsp; There are not many who can sustain the intense pressure of leading the field in a Golden Slipper and still pull away at the line.
