We also purchased the Shamus Award filly out of Bellahro, a mare whose Xtravagant filly we currently have at home and hold in very high regard. Having seen firsthand what the family can produce, and with the 2YO sister already showing us plenty, this made her one of the best value buys of the sale.

She comes from the Ultra Thoroughbred draft and is a strong, correct filly with plenty of substance and the physicality to develop into a horse that can stretch out over ground.

Shamus Award continues to sire tough, genuine racehorses with stamina and versatility, and this filly presents exactly that profile. With the confidence we have in the half‑sister already in our system, this purchase was a logical and exciting addition to the team.
