Aaron Bain Racing will be seeking more black type successes in two states on Saturday during another busy weekend.
Following BEACH DIAMOND&rsquo;s success in the Group 2 Vicbred Super Series for three-year-old fillies last Saturday, it will be the opportunity for star mare KISS this week in the Group 2 $100,000 APG &ndash; A Horse For Everyone Vicbred Super Series (2240m) for four-year-old mares.
At Launceston in Tasmania, HUNGRY HIPPO and HEZA PUNK ROCKER will be chasing Group 3 wins in the Golde Derby Pace (2200m) and Tassie Golden Apple (2200m) respectively.
<h3>Harness Racing</h3>
Trainer Peter Bain made the trip to Mildura on Wednesday for a 100% result.
First starter General Rocker scored an all-the-way win in the Club Aquarius Fitness Maiden (2190m) rating a respectable 2:00.5 scoring by 22 metres.
Then, ABR&rsquo;s Aloha Princess remained unbeaten with her win in the Australian Pacing Gold Pace (1720m).
Caught three wide early from gate five, driver Wayne Hill urged the three-year-old filly to find the front, and she never looked seriously challenged winning by seven metres rating 1:58.0.
The daughter of stallion Betting Line was a winner on debut at Globe Derby Park on June 1 and looks to have more wins in store.
On the weekend racing front.
ABR&rsquo;s star mare KISS has drawn gate one in Saturday&rsquo;s Group 2 $100,000 APG &ndash; A Horse For Everyone Vicbred Super Series (2240m) for four-year-old mares.
It is race seven and will be run at 9.07pm SA time. Ryan Sanderson will have the drive.
KISS had gate one in the heat at Ballarat and had to eventually sit parked before proving too good.
She is likely to be outpaced early again so It will be up to Sanderson to plot a path to enable the mare to win.
Betting agencies believe KISS is the one to beat and opened her the $1.80 favourite, she firmed into $1.75 and has since dived into $1.45.
KISS ran fourth to stablemate SHOWSOMEJOY in the Vicbred 3Y0 Fillies final before going on to win the Breeders Crown in 2024.
HEZA PUNK ROCKER will start from barrier three in Saturday&rsquo;s Group 3 $50,000 Lees Orchard Tassie Golden Apple (2200m), a standing start event which is race six at 8pm SA time.
Alex Ashwood retains the drive as he has been in the sulky for the gelding&rsquo;s two Tassie wins which included a heat of the Golden Apple.
Price assessors have installed HEZA PUNK ROCKER as the $2 favourite to secure the Golden Apple.
Ashwood also drives HUNGRY HIPPO which will come from gate three in the Group 3 $75,000 Nutrien Ag Solutions Globe Derby (2200m), race seven at 8.38pm SA time.
The three-year-old colt won the Globe Derby Prelude (2200m) two weeks ago before coming from gate one last Sunday and finishing second in the Family Fun Night 29 November Pace (1680m).
Despite his defeat. HUNGRY HIPPO has opened at $1.70 for the Globe Derby feature.
No runners at Globe Derby Park in Adelaide on Saturday with ABR&rsquo;s two acceptors both scratched but with no serious concerns.
&nbsp;At Albion Park in Brisbane, SWEET MIA will line up in the Garrards Queen Of The Creek (1660m), race 5 at 7.16pm SA time.
Unfortunately, she has a back row draw of nine, gate two on the second row.
Trained by Chantel Turpin, SWEET MIA will be driven by Pete McMullen.
The mare has been racing in great form and looks a good winning chance despite the draw.
Price assessors opened SWEET MIA at $4, she firmed into $3.90 then eased back to $4.20 with the favourite Tremendous Sensation opening at $2.50 and easing to $2.80.
On Monday, ABR unveils ex-New Zealander MIKIS BEAUTY in race four at Globe Derby Park, the Northside Trophies Pace (2230m) at 2.14pm SA time.
Trained by Peter Bain and to be driven by Wayne Hill, the mare has drawn barrier 11, four on the second row.
MIKIS BEAUTY trialled well at Gawler last Sunday and despite the draw, should prove hard to beat.
NAROBI makes her return to racing in race seven, the Bianco Reinforcing Pace (1800m) at 4.04pm SA time.
She is also trained by Peter Bain and will be driven by Wayne Hill.
An impressive first-up winner in September, NAROBI then ran fifth in early October.
She trialled nicely at Gawler last Sunday in readiness for Monday.

Aaron Bain Racing celebrated another feature race victory when BEACH DIAMOND scored a sensational win at Melton on Saturday.
An outstanding second recently in the Victoria Oaks behind Soho Americano, BEACH DIAMOND turned the tables on Saturday in the Group 2 $100,000 APG Yearling Sales Vicbred Super Series (2240m).
Trained by Emma Stewart and driven by top New South Wales reinsman Cameron Hart, the filly, the strong $2.80 second favourite, beat the red-hot $1.75 favourite Soho Americano by 3-1/2 metres with Peace Out ($101), a metre away third.
There were two other good harness winners over the weekend.
ABR&rsquo;s New South Wales trip with SHADY THINKER went pear-shaped when rain made the track heavy at Kembla Grange and we now know for sure he hates the going.
He is now on the way home for the team to plot a new program.
ABR was also really happy with DUAL PRESSURE&rsquo;s close second in the Happy Trails Final but again rain on the day didn&rsquo;t help.
No runners at the midweek meeting at Sportsbet Gawler on Wednesday and we look forward to possibly two runners at Morphettville Parks on Saturday.

A great weekend for ABR with, as reported, BEACH DIAMOND&rsquo;s brilliant victory at Melton in the Group 2 $100,000 APG Yearling Sales Vicbred Super Series (2240m) for three-year-old fillies.

On Sunday, at Launceston in Tasmania, our star pacer HEZA PUNK ROCKER won the Ladbrokes Popular SRM Pace (1680m) as a prelude for his feature run next Saturday.
Driven by Alex Ashwood, the five-year-old was a red hot $1.05 favourite and won by a neck.
HEZA PUNK ROCKER&rsquo;s target is this Saturday in the Group 3 $50,000 Tassie Golden Apple (2200m), a standing start race, at the same venue.
HUNGRY HIPPO, second at Launceston on Sunday, this Saturday will start in the Group 3 $75,000 Globe Derby Final (2200m) for three-year-old colts &amp; geldings.
On Monday at Globe Derby Park, the talented HILLTOP CRUSADER made a winning return to racing.
Coming from last in the Congratulations Lachlan &amp; Tiyana Pace (1800m), the four-year-old, the $2.20 favourite, scored a neck win rating 1:59.4.
Trained by Peter Bain and driven by Wayne Hill, HILLTOP CRUSADER went back to last from his poor draw of gate seven before coming around the field to win nicely.
He has three wins and two placings from just seven starts.
HILLTOP CRUSADER is another winner for owner-breeder Val Bain, the matriarch of the Bain family.
ABR heads to Bendigo on Wednesday night for a round of the Vicbred Series Silver section.
Our night starts in race four, for two-year-old colts &amp; geldings (2150m) at 7.10pm SA time with SHORELINE DREAM.
The colt will carry the 10 saddlecloth and start from gate three on the second row with Jackie Barker to drive.
HILLTOP STAR was first emergency in race five, for two-year-old fillies (2150m) at 7.48pm SA time but has obtained a run with a scratching already.
She also has a back row draw of 11, four on the second row with Ryan Sanderson in the sulky.
HILLTOP STAR was transferred from Peter Bain to Emma Stewart after her first-up win in the Ladyship Stakes at Globe Derby Park on November 15.
POPPY LANE is also in race five and could not have drawn any worse coming from 13 &ndash; gate six on the second row. Allan McDonough has the sit.
Earlier on Wednesday, trainer Peter Bain is heading to Mildura with the promising ALOHA PRINCESS and first starter GENERAL ROCKER.
General Rocker has drawn barrier five in race one, the Club Aquarius Fitness Maiden Pace at 12:01pm SA time. Wayne Hill will drive the colt in his first start on Wednesday.&nbsp;
Aloha Princess has drawn barrier five in race five, the Australian Pacing Gold Pace (1790m) at 2.28pm SA time.&nbsp;The filly has had one run for an impressive victory at Globe Derby Park on June 1.
Wayne Hill drove her in that victory, and he will be in the sulky on Wednesday.

There was no doubt BEACH DIAMOND was ABR&rsquo;s Weekend Star with her outstanding Group 2 win at Melton on Saturday.
Trainer Emma Stewart had fantastic success with Encipher a few seasons ago culminating in a win in the world&rsquo;s richest harness racer, the TAB Eureka and it is not a complete stretch to say that ABR&rsquo;s star filly is building a similar profile.
BEACH DIAMOND scored a brilliant win in the Group 2 $100,000 APG Yearling Sales Vicbred Super Series (2240m) for three-year-old fillies.
Driven by top New South Wales reinsman Cameron Hart, the filly, the strong $2.80 second favourite, beat the red-hot $1.75 favourite Soho Americano by 3-1/2 metres with Peace Out ($101), a metre away third.
Aaron Bain, director of Aaron Bain Racing said Beach Diamond had a strong South Australian connection.
&ldquo;More than half of her owners are South Australian,&rdquo; Bain said.
&ldquo;Longtime stable clients such as Brad Fitzgerald from Platinum Services, former Central District chair David Cavenett, Nicole Rantanen-Reynolds and Kirsty-Ann Tattoli have shares in the filly.
&ldquo;Also in the ownership group is the Class of 24 which took shares in all our yearling purchases that year and which have had a great run.
&ldquo;BEACH DIAMOND cost $50,000 as a yearling and has now won nine of her 13 starts and picked up $167,955 in stakes.
&ldquo;What makes her success even more special is that she spent her early days at our Gawler stables and did all her early work under the care of my dad Peter and his team.
&ldquo;She trialled in Adelaide before heading to trainer Emma Stewart in Victoria.
&ldquo;It was a brilliant drive by Cam Hart.
&ldquo;The favourite Soho Americano led from gate three while Cam had a second row draw on Beach Diamond.
&ldquo;He made a decision to come around, had a try for the lead, and perhaps a little surprisingly, was able to find the front.
&ldquo;The filly ran several comfortable quarters before peeling off a brilliant 26.1 second last 400 metres which meant she was never going to be caught.&rdquo;
Winning driver Cameron Hart was full of praise for BEACH DIAMOND.
&ldquo;She was awesome,&rdquo; Hart said.
&ldquo;She showed just how good she is being able to whip around them, find the front and control the race.
&ldquo;The closing quarter was sizzling.
&ldquo;I feel we were a little unlucky when second in the Victoria Oaks, so it was nice to get one for everyone tonight.
&ldquo;It was a little bit of surprise we were able to find the front.
&ldquo;I took a chance early when the pace was pretty sedate into the first quarter and IK knew she would quicken up sharply.
&ldquo;It was a very good surprise to find the front end and control the race.
&ldquo;Credit to the filly, she is push-button for me and whatever I ask her to do, she does.
&ldquo;I am really looking forward to her four-year-old year.
&ldquo;As you step up into the aged group mares her versatility is going to be a big factor.
&ldquo;You can put her in the race, or you can sit her up ort as she showed tonight she can produce a 26.1 second quarter. I think she will take the step.&rdquo;
BEACH DIAMOND is now likely to contest a heat of the $10,000 Nutrien Breeders Crown (2240m) for three-year-old fillies at Melton on Friday, December 5 leading into a Group 2 $100,000 Breeders Crown Final (2240m) at the same venue on Saturday, December 13.

An exciting weekend for Aaron Bain Racing with SHADY THINKER running at Kembla Grange, Sportsbet finals day at Morphettville, then the Vicbred Super Series finals at Melton in the evening.
ABR is hoping for super competitive performances at all venues.
SHADY THINKER lost no admirers at his first New South Wales run when fifth at Rosehill Gardens a fortnight again and gets the chance to atone at Kembla Grange on Saturday in race six the $160,000 Abax Civil C, G &amp; E Benchmark 78 Handicap (1200m) at 3pm SA time.
He lines up against several horses which beat him home at Rosehill Gardens and has drawn barrier six in a field of 15 with Nash Rawiller staying in the saddle.
With that ride and some trackwork also on SHADY THINKER, Rawiller is confident the gelding can be super competitive.
SHADY THINKER has been installed the $3.50 favourite with his Rosehill conqueror Tuned firming from $5.50 to $4.60 in early markets.
ABR has two runners at Morphettville on Sportsbet finals day.
DUAL PRESSURE, a game winner around the Parks last Saturday, contests race six, the $105,000 Sportsbet Happy Trails Final (1600m) at 3.27pm SA time.
He has drawn beautifully in barrier two in a field of 11.
With Jason Holder riding at Cranbourne on Saturday, apprentice Taylor Johnstone has gained the ride, and her claim means the gelding will carry .1kg under the minimum.
It is a tough race, but DUAL PRESSURE gets every chance to put his best hoof forward.
There has been early support for the ABR galloper, and he has firmed from $3.30 into $3 favourite.
Grey UTAH is ABR&rsquo;s other runner in race seven, the $65,000 Sportsbet Restricted Series Final (1800m) at 4.07pm SA timer.
He has drawn barrier one in a field of 15 and Taylor Johnstone will also ride, and her claim brings him in .5kg under the minimum.
Trainers Aaron Bain &amp; Ned Taylor have opted to apply blinkers for the second time on UTAH in an attempt to improve his performance.
The four-year-old was beaten only 2-1/2 lengths when fifth at his most recent over 1800 metres at Morphettville on November 4 and the trainers believe the addition of blinkers can make up that gap.
UTAH has been steady in early markets at $8 with Flaming Navy a well-supported $3.60 public elect.
ABR has two runners at Clare on Sunday, and both will be ridden by Todd Pannell, who landed ONE MORE SONG an impressive winner at Thomas Farms Murray Bridge on Wednesday.
LADY SKYLLA steps out in race six, the Sportsbet Fast Form Rating 0-54 Handicap (1200m) at 3.42pm SA time.
The five-year-old Grand Syndicates-owned mare, having her first run for trainers Aaron Bain &amp; Ned Taylor, has drawn barrier three in a field of 13.
LADY SKYLLA has had a trial and jump out for ABR to ready her for Sunday, and Pannell was aboard each time.
Expect the mare to run strongly through the line.
DON&rsquo;TDOUBTLAYLA is engaged in race eight, the Clare Pharmacy Rating 0 &ndash; 58 Handicap (1100m) at 4.58pm SA time.
She has come up with gate eight in an acceptance of 16 with four emergencies. There were two scratchings soon after acceptances, both drawn outside the ABR mare.
The mare had no chance when resuming at Morphettville and looks better placed on Sunday.
Pannell rode DON&rsquo;TDOUBTLAYLA last time and stays with her. Expect the mare to be running on strongly at the finish.
<h2>Harness Racing</h2>
Draws have again not been kind to ABR in the three-year-old finals of the Vicbred Super Series at Melton on Saturday.
CAPTAIN PERFECT and BEACH DIAMOND both drew the back rows in the recent Victoria Derby and Victoria Oaks respectively but were good enough to run superbly each finishing second.
Come the Super Series finals and again they both have come up with back row gates.
CAPTAIN PERFECT doesn&rsquo;t have long to wait, he is engaged in race one the Group 2 $100,000 APG Yearling Sales Vicbred Super Series (2240m) for three-year-old colts &amp; geldings at 5.37pnm SA time.
Mark Pitt retains the drive, and he comes from gate nine, two on the second row.
Last week CAPTAIN PERFECT was able to lead and won impressively. He is a tough pacer and ABR knows he is capable of winning.
Price assessors believe CAPTAIN PERFECT can overcome his draw and have installed him the $3 favourite.
Next up for ABR is HILLTOP BLOSSOM in race five, the Group 2 $100,000 APG Yearling Sales Vicbred Super Series (2240m) for two-year-old fillies at 7.45pm SA time.
She has drawn well in gate one and will be driven by Mark Pitt.
The filly ran a game fourth in her semi-final last week and from the draw should get a great run, but it is a high-quality field with two of her stablemates looking big dangers.
HILLTOP BLOSSOM is $19 in early markets, but ABR likes the way she is improving for trainer Emma Stewart and hope she can at least sneak a place.
Victoria Oaks runner-up BEACH DIAMOND lines up in race six, the Group 2 APG Yearling Sales Vicbred Super Series (2240m) for three-year-old fillies at 8.14pm SA time.
BEAC H DIAMOND was outstanding in winning her semi-final last week but has come up with gate 10, three on the second row for driver Cam Hart, which makes her task tougher.
Soho Americano, which beat her in the Oaks, has barrier three and looks a possible leader to make ABR&rsquo;s filly even harder.
Punters believe Soho Americano can win again and she is the $1.55 favourite with BEACH DIAMOND second pick at $3.80.
ABR had a double at Launceston last Sunday and will be out to repeat the effort at the same venue this Sunday with the same two horses.
Form three-year-old HUNGRY HIPPO has come up with barrier one in race five, the Family Fun Night 29 November Pace (1680m) at 6.37pm SA time.
He will again be driven by Alex Ashwood who had the steer last Sunday.
It should be a good race to have HUNGRY HIPPO spot on for next Saturday&rsquo;s Sires final.
Initially, HEZA PUNK ROCKER was returning home after last week&rsquo;s win, but trainer Emma Stewart decided to have him in Tasmania, and he will run in race eight, the Ladbrokes Popular SRM (1680m) at 8.22pm SA time.
He has gate five in a field of seven in the mobile event and again, Alex Ashwood retains the drive.
On Monday, ABR has one runner at Globe Derby Park.
HILLTOP CRUSADER will contest race seven, the Congratulations Lachlan and Tiyana Pace (1800m) at 4.04pm SA time.
No luck with the draw coming from gate seven, the outside of the front row, with Wayne Hill to drive.
HILLTOP CRUSADER has two wins from his six starts. He recently ran third in a Gawler trial to ready him for a return to racing.

<h2>Midweek winners</h2>
ONE MORE SONG was top of the pops with an outstanding win at Thomas Farms Murray Bridge on Wednesday, November 19.
Trained by Aaron Bain &amp; Ned Taylor, ONE MORE SONG accelerated from midfield to score easily in the Team Poly Tanks Fillies &amp; Mares Maiden (1200m).
The three-year-old filly, bred and owned by Wayne Mitchell&rsquo;s Pipeline Bloodstock, defied her starting price of $18 to win by four lengths from Sweet Kick ($101) with Synthesise ($2.50 fav), a quarter of a length away third.
Trainer Ned Taylor said One More Song&rsquo;s win had not been a surprise.
&ldquo;We had one run with her as a two-year-old,&rdquo; Taylor said.
&ldquo;It turned out to be a pretty good form race. She caught a speedy one in Esha that day and just lost her action in just trying to keep up with a very fast horse.
&ldquo;We had enough time for her then and since she has grown and filled out.
&ldquo;I think she is a nice filly.
&ldquo;Todd (Pannell) was very confident today, but I had one question because we had not let her go in her trial and jump out.
Winning jockey Todd Pannell wasn&rsquo;t surprised by One More Song&rsquo;s victory.
&ldquo;I hadn&rsquo;t let her go in the jump out and trials,&rdquo; Pannell said.
&ldquo;It was good to let her go today.
&ldquo;She had been going really good in those trials.
&ldquo;She has been progressing really good and had a good break from her first start.
&ldquo;The filly has come back bigger and better, and I have had a couple of sits on her and she did what I expected today.
Thursday saw ABR&rsquo;s star pacing mare KISS win her semi-final of the APG &ndash; A Horse For Everyone Vicbred Super Series for four-year-old mares (2200m) at Ballarat.
Despite racing parked for more than a lap, KISS drew clear to win by 8-1/2 metres rating an excellent 1:55.6.
The Emma Stewart-trained mare, driven by Ryan Sanderson, now progresses to the Group 2 $100,000 final at Melton on Saturday, November 29.

A great ride by Jason Holder saw DUAL PRESSURE prove too good for his rivals in the PFD Food Services Handicap (1550m).
Trainers Aaron Bain and Ned Taylor head to Thomas Farms Murray Bridge with four runners on Wednesday.
First starter STOCKMAN&rsquo;S CHOICE steps out in race two, the Coonara Colts, Geldings &amp; Entires Maiden (1200m) at 1.45pm SA time.
The three-year-old has come up with gate four in an acceptance of 13 with one emergency and apprentice Brooke King will ride and claim 2kg.
STOCKMAN&rsquo;S CHOICE has had a total of four trials for his first start, and the spacious Murray Bridge track should suit.
He will carry the famous colours of the late Colin McKenna and is part-owned by his business Halo Racing.
ONE MORE SONG returns to the track in race three, the Team Poly Tanks Fillies &amp; Mares Maiden (1200m) at 2.20pm SA time.
Top jockey Todd Pannell takes the ride, and the three-year-old filly has drawn barrier eight in a field of 13, with one emergency.
ONE MORE SONG has had Pannell in the saddle in both her recent trials and she should acquit herself well.
Improving stayer KING EDWARD steps out in race six, the Orange Pumps &amp; AAP Industries Benchmark 56 Handicap (1800m) at 4.05pm SA time.
Jason Holder, an outstanding middle-distance jockey, jumps aboard the five-year-old which has gate five in a field of 13.
KING EDWARD was a strong winner of an 1800 metre maiden at Clare and should be competitive again, and no doubt, will be looking for even more ground.
ABR&rsquo;s day concludes with NAVY GOLD in race seven, the Vinidex &amp; Philmac Benchmark 58 Handicap (1400m) at 4.40pm SA time.
Jason Holder retains the ride, and NAVY GOLD comes from gate six in an acceptance of 16 with two emergencies and there were already two early scratchings.
Holder rode the five-year-old first up at Morphettville on November 5 over 1200 metres when he worked home late.
The gelding has a win, second and third from three runs over the 1400 metres at Murray Bridge and should run home powerfully again on Wednesday.
ABR is hoping for a competitive day before heading into next Saturday with SHADY THINKER running at Kembla Grange and a good representation in Sportsbet final&rsquo;s day at Morphettville.

Fabulous weekend for ABR with winners in three starts.
Trainer Peter Bain took out the Ladyship Stakes at Globe Derby Park with HILLTOP STAR, bred and owned by his mother Val, the family matriarch.
Bernadette Page had the drive.
At Melton, CAPTAIN PERFECT, driven by Mark Pitt, and BEACH DIAMOND, with Cam Hart in the sulky, were successful in the VicBred Super Series semi-finals for colts and geldings and fillies, respectively.
Clayton Tonkin, partner of trainer Emma Stewart was delighted with both wins.
&ldquo;We took a good opportunity with Captain Perfect&rsquo;s barrier draw,&rdquo; Tonkin said.
&ldquo;He loves free wheeling in front and was strong through the line.
&ldquo;We will make it a staying test in the final.&rdquo;
CAPTAIN PERFECT rated a smart 1:53.9 for the 2240m, 0.9 faster than the winner of the other semi-final.
Tonkin has a huge opinion of BEACH DIAMOND.
&ldquo;She is a good filly,&rdquo; Tonkin said.
&ldquo;She never runs a bad race and is verry determined &ndash; she was really strong through the line.
&ldquo;I would not swap BEACH DIAMOND for any of the fillies in the semi-finals.
&ldquo;She is an exceptional filly.&rdquo;
Tonkin said he expected reinsman Cam Hart to retain the drive.
BEACH DIAMOND rated an excellent 1:55.1, 2.2 seconds faster than the other semi-final.
On Sunday, ABR was successful at Launceston with HUNGRY HIPPO and HEZA PUNK ROCKER.
HUNGRY HIPPO won the Prelude of the Globe Derby Stakes and will stay in Tasmania for the $75,000 final at Launceston on Saturday, November 29.
He is expected to run again this Sunday at Launceston to ready him for the Sires final.
HEZA PUNK ROCKER did a strong job in winning heat two of the Golden Apple rating 2:00.0 which was 0.7 faster than the other heat.
The Golden Apple is a standing start race, and the $50,000 final will be run at Launceston on November 29.
Both winners are trained by Emma Stewart and were driven by Alex Ashwood.
ABR will be at Ballarat on Thursday with our star KISS lining up in a semi-final of the APG &ndash; A Horse For Everyone Vicbred Super Series for Mares over 2200m.

Hard to split ABR&rsquo;s winners to name the Weekend Star but we settled on talented thoroughbred DUAL PRESSURE.
Gun jockey Jason Holder fired DUAL PRESSURE out from his extreme outside draw in a field of eight in the PFD Food Services Handicap (1550m) to settle second outside the speed.
A $4.20 chance, the Aaron Bain &amp; Ned Taylor trained five-year-old, shot clear at the 300-metre mark and held on to score by a long neck from Stirrup Cup ($9.50) with Komachi ($10) a similar margin away third.
DUAL PRESSURE will now back up next Saturday at Morphettville in the $105,000 Sportsbet Happy Trails Final (1600m).
Winning trainer Aaron Bain said things had got it a bit tight late for DUAL PRESSURE.
&ldquo;I thought he was home clearly at the 300 (metres), then at the 50 I thought what was happening,&rdquo; Bain said.
&ldquo;It was a really good ride by &lsquo;Stubby&rsquo; (Jason Holder).
&ldquo;They got pretty cheap sectionals early but then lifted the tempo from the 800 (metres).
&ldquo;It was a calculated rider by &lsquo;Stubby,&rsquo; but I felt the horse looked sensational in the mounting yard.
&ldquo;Will (O&rsquo;Malley), our Racing Manager and Ned said they have not seen him look better.
&ldquo;Full credit to the team as they have built DUAL PRESSURE through the preparation.
&ldquo;First time out to the 1550m this prep today, now next week he can go to the Happy Trails final.
&ldquo;Hopefully the rain stays away next week as he is most effective on good ground.&rdquo;
Winning jockey Jason Holder said it was his third win from five rides on DUAL PRESSURE.
&ldquo;He&rsquo;s been a good horse for me,&rdquo; Holder said.
&ldquo;They paid a bit of money for him, so it has been good to be part of it with Aaron (Bain) and Ned (Taylor).
&ldquo;We drew a bit awkwardly but fortunately he jumped well.
&ldquo;I was able to go forward and sit outside the lead.
&ldquo;Coming to the turn I was a little bit worried, but he came back under me, then he found again which was great..
&ldquo;Every time I was asking him he got out of his comfort zone and didn&rsquo;t like it but then he reset which was good and probably won him the race.

Dual Pressure

Aaron Bain Racing is buoyant about heading to the feature Kembla Grange meeting on Saturday, November 22 with our stable star SHADY THINKER.
On Saturday, the four-year-old had his first run in New South Wales at Rosehill Gardens and finished, in our opinion, one of the best fifths at the track in the Ranvet Handicap (1200m).
SHADY THINKER was a fraction slow to begun which resulted in being caught wide and pushed very wide turning for home.
But he had the audacity to keep coming and ended up fifth, just 1.37 lengths behind the winner, and just .37 lengths from the second placegetter.
Trainer Aaron Bain said jockey Nash Rawiller had been impressed by SHADY THINKER and wanted to stay with him at Kembla Grange in the $160,000 Colts, Geldings &amp; Entires Benchmark 78 Handicap (1200m).
Following the Rosehill Gardens race Rawiller said SHADY THINKER had run very well.
&ldquo;We were a bit unlucky, he did a really good job,&rdquo; Rawiller said.
&ldquo;We missed our spot early and he was three wide.
&ldquo;For that reason he never adapted to the track as I would have hoped.
&ldquo;He has hung out bad and done everything wrong but still finished the race off.
&ldquo;It was an encouraging gallop, he is a nice horse.
&ldquo;His last 100 (metres) was a testament to his ability.
&ldquo;It was a great effort.&rdquo;
ABR was buoyed by Rawiller&rsquo;s observations and his desire to stay with him at Kembla Grange.
No runners for ABR at Balaklava on Wednesday, we now look forward to Morphettville Parks on Saturday.
Then, November 22 it is Sportsbet Finals day at Morphettville, and of course, Kembla Grange.

Star mare KISS steps out at Bendigo on Wednesday in a heat of the APG &ndash; A Horse For Everyone Vicbred Super Series for mares.
KISS is in heat one, over 2150 metres at 6.30pm SA time.
She has a back row draw of 10 with Ryan Sanderson to drive.
The four-year-old mare has a win and a fourth in two runs from a spell and, hopefully, will qualify for the semi-finals.
ABR&rsquo;s star three-year-olds CAPTAIN PERFECT and BEACH DIAMOND both qualified for the semi-finals of the Vicbred as did two-year-old HILLTOP BLOSSOM.

BEACH DIAMOND was ABR&rsquo;s weekend star with her dynamic heat win in the APG Yearling Sales Vicbred Super Series for three-year-old fillies at Melton last Friday.
Ryan Sanderson gave her an aggressive drive asking the filly to extend over the last 300 metres and she raced away for a 22metre win rating 1:56.0.
Coming from the inside of the second row, BEACH DIAMOND was quickly off the inside and Sanderson let the front runners work out their spots before coming around to sit parked.
Then, it was a case of keeping up with the ABR star as she drew clear to win easily.
Sanderson was full of praise for BEACH DIAMOND.
&ldquo;Obviously I was really happy with her run,&rdquo; Sanderson said.
&ldquo;Went around to the breeze and tapped her up a little bit to see if the lead was there but it wasn&rsquo;t.
&ldquo;She over race a little bit in the open air after I tapped her up.
&ldquo;She hit the front down the back she went real nice.
&ldquo;Felt like a great horse and very happy to sit behind her.
&ldquo;Beach Diamond&rsquo;s run in the Oaks was massive when she finished second and I&rsquo;m sure she will be a great winning chance in the Super Series.&rdquo;

ABR Race Preview

Aaron Bain Racing is keen to break new ground on Saturday with SHADY THINKER set to run at Rosehill Gardens in Sydney.
He will be the first New South Wales starter for trainers Aaron Bain &amp; Ned Taylor.
The ABR racing team selected the $160,00 Benchmark 78 Handicap (1200m) at Rosehill Gardens as an ideal race to test SHADY THINKER&rsquo;s potential.
There were 13 nominations for the event when weights were declared on Tuesday.
In-form Sydney jockey Nash Rawiller has been booked to ride.
A winner of three of his four starts, SHADY THINKER resumed at Morphettville on October 18 with an excellent half-length win in a Benchmark 70.
The team will decide on Wednesday whether to go ahead with the trip, but indications are positive.
No runners for ABR at Gawler on Thursday.&nbsp;

The VicBred Super Series starts on Wednesday at Bendigo and ABR will be looking for our stars, all trained by Emma Stewart, to take the step into the semi-finals.
SHORELINE DREAM steps out in heat one of the APG Yearling Sales Super Series for two-year-old colts and geldings (2150m), race one at 6pm SA time.&rsquo;
He will carry saddlecloth 10 and start from gate three on the second row to be driven by Mark Pitt.
HILLTOP BLOSSOM will have her first run for Stewart, coming across from Peter Bain, in race two at 6.30-pm, the first heat for two-year-old fillies (2150m).
She has drawn barrier eight, gate one on the second row with Ryan Sanderson in the sulky.
NOT GUILTY steps out in race four, the third heat for two-year-old colts and geldings at 7.30pm SA time.
Another back row draw of nine, two on the second row, with Ryan Sanderson to drive.
POPPY LANE makes her debut for ABR in race five, heat two of the two-year-old fillies at 8pm SA time.
She also has a back row draw, gate eight, one on the second row, with Mark Pitt in the sulky.
ABR hopes they all do enough to go through to the semi-finals at Melton on Saturday, November 15.
On Friday, the heats of the APG Yearling Sales Vicbred Super Series will be run at Melton and ABR has two nice runners.
Victoria Derby runner-up CAPTAIN PERFECT is our first runner in heat three for three-year-old colts &amp; geldings over 2400 metres at 7.30pm SA time.
Yet again, no luck with the draw coming from gate seven, the extreme outside of the front row.
BEACH DIAMOND, the Victoria Oaks second placegetter, runs in race six, the third heat for three-year-old fillies over 2240m at 8.03pm SA time.
She has barrier eight, the inside of the second row.
ABR is looking for both to qualify for the semi-finals to be run at Melton on Saturday, November 15.

It was fantastic to have our first win for the highly successful ownership group of OTI Racing on Sunday.
It might have just been a Clare meeting, but KING EDWARD indicated his staying potential with a strong win.
He is the first horse entrusted to Aaron Bain Racing by principal Terry Henderson and the OTI team and to have a horse win carrying their colours was very exciting.
King Edward&rsquo;s last 200 metres was very good, and trainers Aaron Bain &amp; Ned Taylor are looking to take him through his classes over even more ground than the 1800m of Sunday&rsquo;s race.

In interesting thoroughbred news, trainers Aaron Bain &amp; Ned Taylor are contemplating a trip to Sydney with stable star SHADY THINKER.
Trainer Aaron Bain said SHADY THINKER would be nominated for a $160,000 Benchmark 78 over 1200 metres at Rosehill Gardens on Saturday, November 8.
&ldquo;We want to test him at a higher level, and the Sydney race looks ideal,&rdquo; Bain said.
&ldquo;We will accept with him and hope for a decent draw. If he draws badly he won&rsquo;t go.
&ldquo;With the focus on the last day of the Cup carnival in Melbourne, we thought it a good time to sneak up to Sydney.&rdquo;
ABR was pleased to see the highly talented HEZA PUNK ROCKER return to the winning list at Melton on Saturday.
HEZA PUNK ROCKER, trained by Emma Stewart and driven by Mark Pitt, was heavily backed from $2.50 into $1.45 favourite in the Dynamic Print Group Pace (2240m).
Coming from the extreme outside of the front row, Pitt allowed the gelding to balance up early and settled last in the field of eight.
With a lap to go and 1200 metres from home, Pitt sent HEZA PUNK ROCKER forward and sit outside the leader which looked to be his main danger.
The five-year-old increased the tempo with 400 metres left to travel and outstayed his rivals to win by 1-1/2 metres rating 1:55.8 with an excellent last 800 metres in 55.3 seconds.
ABR has always believed HEZA PUNK ROCKER to be one of the best pacers we have raced, and his record would be much better but for injury issues.
Classy mare SWEET MIA made it three wins in a row at Albion Park on Saturday with an easy win in the Garrards Horse &amp; Hounds Mares Band 5 Pace (1660m).
With concession driver Tom Callaghan in the sulky for trainer Chantel Turpin, SWEET MIA rated a brilliant 1:51.2 in an easy five metre victory.
On Monday, trainer Peter Bain had another winner when LIZZIE SHELBY returned to racing with a victory in the Ladbrokes Odds Surge Pace (1800m).
Driver Waye Hill landed his biggest win on Saturday taking out the SA Cup on Miki To Success for Emma Stewart but showed he had no &ldquo;premiership hangover&rdquo; with his drive on LIZZIE SHELBY.
He went forward from gate six to sit parked then made an intelligent move with 600 metres to travel dropping down to trail the well backed leader Dallas Dale.
Then, he let LIZZIE SHELBY ($1.95 fav.) sprint up the sprint lane to run down Dallas Dale ($2.20) by 2-1/2 metres with Dee Jays Miss ($6.50), five metres away third.
The drive showed why Hill is the reigning premier driver in SA and has a good lead in this year&rsquo;s premiership.
No runners for ABR at Thomas Farms Murray Bridge on Wednesday and we look forward top Morphettville on Saturday, then even bigger representation on the Melbourne Cup Tuesday meeting.

ABR has been waiting to step KING EDWARD out in trip, and he didn&rsquo;t let us down at Clare on Sunday to be our Weekend Star.
Having just his third start for trainers Aaron Bain &amp; Ned Taylor, KING EDWARD showed his appreciation for a step up in distance with a strong win.
Given a smart ride by apprentice Matthew Chadwick, the five-year-old raced away over the final 200 metres to win the Platinum Ag Services Maiden (1800m).
KING EDWARD ($4.60) scored by an ever-increasing 2-1/4 lengths from Matino ($2.40 fav) with Lai Flipper ($21), a half-length away third.
Chadwick settled the gelding midfield on the fence early in the field of 10.
The leaders increased the tempo with 800 metres to travel, and the jockey found himself five lengths astern of the three leaders.
He stayed on the inside and KING EDWARD accelerated through the gap to win well and indicated he would love races over even more ground.
Winning trainer Aaron Bain said it had been great to get on board for the OTI team.
&ldquo;KING EDWARD won emphatically today,&rdquo; Bain said.
&ldquo;He pulled up very well and looks great in the coat.
&ldquo;It was a confidence run today after having issues at his previous run.
&ldquo;Now we can progress to a Class One with him.
&ldquo;There are two options &ndash; next Thursday, on Oaks day, at Gawler there is a Class One over 2100 metres or the following Friday, at Bordertown, there is a Class One over 2000 metres.
&ldquo;Both are really good options, getting him out a little bit further in trip.
&ldquo;Hopefully, the further he goes, the better he gets.
Winning jockey Matthew Chadwick said he believed KING EDWARD could continue to improve over ground.
&ldquo;The horse put in a great performance today,&rdquo; Chadwick said.
&ldquo;It didn&rsquo;t go as I planned, I was a pair further back than I wanted.
&ldquo;He settled beautifully for me and around the half-mile (800m), I asked him to start improving.
&ldquo;He took a little while to pick up the bridle but when he did I got behind the leaders very quickly.
&ldquo;The opening came on the fence, and he put them away pretty comfortably.
&ldquo;Hopefully it is onwards and upwards.&rdquo;
