THUNDARA, has had the one start in NZ, on the 2^nd January, first up at 1400m when she was very strong to the line and through the line.  Video below, of replay.

In her debut run above, first up at 1400m, she who came home in the fastest last 800 and 200m of the race, proving ideal to build out in trip.  Her work past the post, is what caught our attention the most.

This was a strong maiden with the top 4 across the line all bringing strong trial form that we have followed through.

The winner, of this race, Lunaman, they have knocked back 600k to HK, enroute to the $3 million Kiwi.

A little more on the depth of pedigree for the filly, her dams half-sister who was unraced has produced 13 horses to race, 10 winners including Thunder Lady by Mastercraftman who won a Wakeful Stakes, 2nd in an Oaks and 3rd in a Vinery stud.

She is a filly, we would look to kick off at 1400m in Adelaide, and build out to the SA Oaks of 2000m on 25^th April 26, with then a possible view to the QLD Oaks thereafter, 2200m on 6^th June 26.

Further to this, breeder and current owner, Mapperley Stud Ltd, will be retaining a 20% share in the filly to race with us in Australia, which is always a positive sign in their belief in her and her coming to us with the plan above.
