We’re thrilled to welcome Aliandra, an unraced 3YO filly from New Zealand, to the Aaron Bain Racing team. She’s a late Guineas type with serious upside—profiling as a 1200m to mile horse with black-type potential.

Aliandra impressed in her New Zealand trial, showing strong early pace and closing in good time. She’s professional, tractable, and looks ready to progress quickly.

We moved fast to secure her. The standout was her final 200m—finishing off in 11.5 under light riding after leading throughout. She’s a nicely balanced filly with a powerful back end, capable of producing real acceleration. With room to mature further, we’re excited to get her into our system and target black-type racing in the autumn. Notably, the filly she trialled alongside holds a nomination for the Group 1 NZ 1000 Guineas.
