ABR has secured Lot 222 Russian Camelot x Yours Ever Filly at the 2025 Adelaide Magic Millions Yearling Sale.

A beautifully framed filly by an exciting sire who has 2-year-olds about to emerge.

With an attractive and interesting international pedigree, this filly was shortlisted by our bloodstock team.  On inspection the build certainly matched the pedigree, with a lovely frame, balanced walk and room to grow.  We expect her to be a filly that will perform at middle distance and excel in her 3-year-old year.  

The sire, Russian Camelot, was an excitement machine, taking the 2020 Australian racing season by storm after being purchased from the Northern Hemisphere and becoming the highest rated Australasian 3 year old of that year.  He won our very own G1 SAJC Derby under hands and heels, beating future multiple stakes winners in Dalasan and VRC Derby winner Warning.  In the Spring he went on to beat the older horses in the G1 Underwood Stakes, with comparisons arising to the great So You Think.  He ran a gallant third in the Cox Plate technically only as a Northern Hemisphere 3-year-old.  Injury in 2021 forced his premature retirement before we got to see the very best of him, but we are excited to see the mark he can make as a stallion with the proven Sadler’s Wells line crosses featuring heavily on the pedigree page, and his 2-year-olds now starting to race. 

There is no shortage of quality along the dam line, being a strong European family.  Yours Ever was a race winner who has produced 4 out of 5 winners to runners at middle distance.  Her half-sister Acquainted was stakes performed and has produced an 8-time winner in Furrion, who amassed over $566,000 in prizemoney and had success in multiple black type races including a win in the Warrnambool Cup.  Their dam, Yours Everlasting, was a herself multiple black type winner of 6 races in the UK.
